Root Certificate with IE

Install the CSU San Bernardino Root Certificate using Microsoft's Internet Explorer

Installing the Root Certificate through Internet Explorer will also install the root certificate for Outlook and Outlook Express.

  1. Download the Root Certificate. (Click link below)
  2. Click Open.

    Note: Newer versions of IE require that you click Save (instead of Open) to download the certificate as a file to your hard drive. After the file is saved, go to where you saved your file, double-click the saved file, and proceed to the next step.

  3. Click Install Certificate.

  4. Go Next.

  5. Click Next one more time.

  6. Click Finish.

  7. Click Yes to add certificate to the Root Store.

  8. Click OK to close window.
