Possible Issues
This version of the eTrust antivirus software requires a web browser to access its Agent GUI. This can create issues depending on what web browser you use and on how your computer is configured. For example, launching the Agent GUI may prompt for a username and password.

The real-time antivirus scanner is still working, even if you have issues accessing the Agent. To confirm this, check the eTrust ITM tray icon (the bouncing ball). It should be green. Also, hover your mouse above this icon. In a second or two, a status summary message will appear.
Some workarounds are listed below. If you have an issue that is not addressed here, check with your designated technician. Otherwise, please see the CSUSB Wiki page for eTrust ITM.
Firefox
Firefox users will need to configure Firefox for the eTrust ITM
Agent.
Internet Explorer 7

Some IE7 users may need to configure IE7 for the eTrust ITM Agent.
Local Firewalls
Access to the Agent GUI may be blocked by a third-party local firewall, such as Norton Internet Security, ZoneLabs, BlackICE, etc. See the CSUSB Wiki page for eTrust ITM for more details.
